Procedure
Technique to be used in the operation depends on the physical features of the nose and the methods used by the selected physician. Operation is carried out usually in local anaesthesia. Cuts are usually done inside the nostrils, as well as the shaping and possible bone trim. External cast and internal tufts may also be used. The operation takes about 1-2 hours. Most of the cuts will be made almost always inside the nose, and they will not be visible. In some cases, a cut has to be made outside the nose seams but the scars will be almost invisible.
Results
Change primarily depends on the structure of the nose and skin. Changes might be slight and not noticeable. The aim is to make a natural improved shape that fits in your face.
Recovery
After the operation, some small adjustments are usually in place. Usually after the surgery you will have to use a mask for about 1 to 2 weeks. Recovery from the surgery is very unique. Swelling and bruises around the eyes are common, but heal really quickly. You might have some bruising for 2-3 weeks after the operation, but the swelling in your nose heals at a slower rate.
You may incur some numbness approximately 3 months after the surgery, so it will take 3-4 months to see the final results.
