Tattoo Removal with laser
Tattoo removal is thanks to the laser technology easier, faster and more effective than before.
City Clinic uses NdYag and KTP Q-switched laser to remove tattoos and cosmetic tattoos.
Results are visible after the first treatment. The treatment is not totally painless, but can be helped with local anaesthesia cream to the area 1 hour before the treatment. Removal is considerably less painful than getting the tattoo and the procedure takes only few minutes.
Compared to other lasers (ruby, CO2 and alexandrite laser ) and IPL machines the Q-switched NdYag laser is very safe and has a less risk of scarring. IPL machines are also been criticized as a less effective way of removing tattoos.
Tattoos black, blue, red and brown colour (and their mixture) can be removed. It takes from 4 to 8 treatments. The treatments can be done in 4-8 weeks intervals. During this time bodies own mast cells clear away the pigment fragments that have been treated with the laser.
After the treatment the treated area might appear swollen. The swelling will go down in half an hour.

Microsclerotherapy for Thread Veins with Laser
Enlarged small veins (telangiectasia) are small visible starry shaped or radial varicose veins. Loss of flexibility inside the veins leads to venous enlargement due to the arterial pressure. Small and superficial vein formations may be very painful and have a clear cosmetic harm.
Varicose veins start to disappear within two to three months. You cannot always expect a full recovery with the injection treatment, but in any case, a satisfactory result is around 70 percent. Read more.
